Chances of Genjutsu?

This was probably asked before, but just in case it wasnt asked or discussed...I wanted to check everyone's opinion on whether they believe obito could be under a genjutsu from Madara - that is to say Madara used a similar genjutsu to Shusui's KA.

This may end up as a fail thread with the new chapter almost here, but lets see where this goes...

Honestly, I don't think so, Although it is slightly possible.
But Madara does not seem like the Genjutsu type to me even though he used it on the Raikage(I think)

I do think that Madara told him the truth about everything though, And hearing this come from the almighty Madara, Obito must believe that there is no other way to make the Narutoverse peaceful, Which is what I think Madara told him, Then Obito made his own choice to stick with him.

obito was essentially dead at the time, so his hopes of becoming hokage (dont even remember this as his ambition, but still...) wouldnt even matter.

It is possible. Until we have a concrete reason for Obito go full on rape the world, there could most likely be something messing with his brain. I just don't see why the death of Rin caused him to actually want to kill everyone...

he was using madara name to further there plans duh, he was not lieing to just hide his idenity but to make sure nagato didnt betray him and madara

no he was 13 when he "died", and what people want to understand is why he never returned to the leaf village after madara fix him up, its beccause madara saw some of his ownself inside obito
like i said obito wanted to become hokage one day, and madara fully gave him the truth that obito didnt even understand why he can never become hokage, that as along as the senju are in controll
no uchiha can ever become hokage, not to mention why he never went back anyways to the village for rin, it is beccaue she died before he made his fully recovery or she never loved him and

do you know where he states that he wishes to be hokage? im guessing it had to be in the kakashi gaiden (but i honestly dont remember him stating that). either way, we will find out what happened back then - atleast part of the history in this coming chapter.

i really hope obito is under some genjutsu so that he can become a good guy and help fight madara. either that or have sasuke turn into a good guy.

It's a good theory I mean it's weird how he waged a war just because of rins death. maybe obito had some hate in his heart and madara used it to drive him on
