For his caliber his chakra is pretty ****.
Compared to even the mediocre ninja his chakra is average.

I just can't believe it. He should be in A or S bro.

Well then I guess Tobirama should be in the same tier. Hiruzen was said to have much much more chakra in his prime than in his old age, and even in his old age, had much chakra.

I've never seen anything that suggests Hiruzen > Hashirama in chakra reserves. But you're right, there isn't a manga scan that says Hashirama > Hiruzen in chakra reserves either. Hiruzen has a lot, but I think Hashirama has more. I know it's not the best evidence, by my assumptions are based off:

- Hashirama's lineage - being close to the elder son of the S06P (who had incredible life force) and having the most coveted DNA in the series
- Excecution of large scale techniques (shown via Edo Madara) as well as effortless healing powers
- Feats such as having control over the tailed beasts
- His strength being compared to a "fairy tale"

I know Hiruzen has his Sarutobi Clan lineage and he also did very well against Oro and pulled off some beastly techniques, but I think Hashirama just beats him in chakra reserves. I could be wrong though...

It was stated Kisame has more chakra than Naruto and the most chakra in Akatsuki. I would think he is place in the same category as Naruto's atleast.

- They have improved exponentially since then, based on his latest EMS feats. I believe he should be placed in S, but that's just my opinion. Also, Kakashi should be lower, you are forgetting that his chakra reserves have not improved since the start of Shippuden, he's only gained more control over Kamu. His reserves were replenished by Kurama during the fight, and before that he was panting from Exhaustion.
