(Listen while reading)Falling... Falling into another world, no control of what had happened in the past. It's dark... It's getting cold. This reality was once filled with an essence of passion and light, yet now the heartless have stepped inside, releasing nothing but darkness and hate. How... How could I possibly find my way out of this illusion, and once more advance into what was reality.
???: Taka...!
Taka facepalms himself back to conciousness. He looks around, yet could only see himself lying on the beach's shore. Voices echo into his head as though he was walking the depths of hell. He quickly hops to his feet and shouts out for Kairi... No answer...
Kairi: Taka...! You silly kid, wake up!
Taka pulls himself up into a crouched position only to see a smiling face just before his. He softly slaps Kairi's cheek in hopes it wasn't a dream. His hand slips through her cheek as a teardrop leaks from his eyes. He had no idea what was happening. Taka's eyes then slowly shut... once more...
Taka: *Staring into Riku's eyes widely* Uh... Riku, what are you doing here?
Riku: I suppose you mean what are you doing here. Kairi's been waiting for you for you to go and get the new outfit she's made for you. Hurry your ass over there!
Taka: Ah? Oh yeah, Kairi! Catch ya later Riku. *Waves good bye*
Taka takes off almost like a hare in a hurry to win a race. The soft sand slips into his sandles, as warm and peaceful as the golden sun. While running, he slams into Koto face first, and they both begin to descend to the ground. Koto rubs his head and glares at Taka as he smiles uneasily.
Koto: Hey! Taka, Watch were ya go-
Taka stands to his feet and looks down away from Koto. His face becomes shadowed with darkness as he stares towards the sun.
Taka: *Shoves sand into Koto's mouth* Shut up Koto, I don't have time for you
He continues to walk towards Kairi's whereabouts. Koto charges at Taka with his wooden "Pirate Sword" drawn in hand. He swings at Taka, but is instantly taken down, lying unconcious on the surface. Taka throws the remains of Koto's snapped sword beside him, and moves on...
Taka: Kairi! *Slams the cabin door wide open* Phew, Kairi, you called?
Kairi: Took you long enough! Here, do you like your new outfit? I just finished making it for you.
Taka did nothing but stare in awe. He grabbed the outfit from her hands. A white collar spiked with chains, a perfectly sewed red vest with splashes of black dye, and a well puffed up pair of black trousers. The whole outfit was a complete image of what he had asked for. He smiled.
Taka: Like it? I love it! Thank you so much!
I reached out to hold her... but I only slipped through her once more. I thought it was real this time. I then knew that the darkness had entered the light, our world filled with shadows. The Heartless. My father once told me that when the world turns dark, the only way to bring back the light was the Chain of Hearts... but was it possible?
