I really really hope Kishi hypes the big reveal of Kakashi's unmasking by saying that they wouldn't allow his masked face to be carved into the mountain, so for the very first time, his unmasked face is seen to the village...

BUT when we (the readers) finally get a chance to see it on the mountain, it is distorted and unrecognizable due to Naruto's son's vandalism.

Leaving his true face left a mystery and making Kishi a bigger troll in the end.
