I mean these people specialize in jumping like 50 feet in the air. They travel through trees for a living.

Unless you can catch your opponent off guard, all that ces ground punches will do is create an opening for your Opp to use a longe range ninjutsu on you.

and if their taijutsu better than yours, ces with cqc will be useless cause you wont be able to land a hit.


Pure Taijutsu cant win you a fight unless you have Gates.

Purpose. If any of those punches made contact with any ninja without a high diffence/endurance.....things would get pretty gory honestly.

CES Ground punches are actually handy. Distractions are very important in fights especially ones that are CQC. It could catch them off guard and startle them. It also takes out a bunch of terrain used to fight in. You are at a severe loss without the landscape. Hiding is also not an option. CES users have the upperhand when they can control the environment around them.

I think the word you are looking for is disadvantage. CES punches might have disadvantages but if it lands successfully it can K.O. the the opponent in one blow, ending the fight right there. It is far from useless.
