A nice list of censored scenes or scenes that weren't included in the anime adaptation. Just for you anime-only viewers (I know there's got to be a few...).

Luffy cutting himself with a knife to prove that he was brave enough to be a pirate was not show in the anime. In fact, many anime viewers are unaware of how Luffy got the scar in the first place.

Helmeppo's wolves were killed in the manga, while only one wolf appeared in the anime, at which Zoro simply threw a chair.

In the manga, one of Buggy's crew members accidentally said something about his nose. Out of rage, Buggy held him up with his detached hand (though the hand wasn't shown as to hide Buggy's power until it is revealed) and fired a special Buggy Ball at him, killing him. In the anime, Buggy spares that crew member and lets him go instead.

In the manga, after Zoro mentions that he is tired of having Cabaji attacking his wound, Zoro deliberately cuts himself with his sword to show him that he can fight with a handicap. In the anime, Zoro lets Cabaji cut him instead by standing still to take the blow.

Nami pokes luffy in the eye with a needle for poking holes in the hat she had just repaired. These scenes weren't in the anime

When Jango threw the chakram at Nami, it hits the back of Luffy's head after he got up. In the anime, Luffy caught it with his teeth and bit it to pieces.

In the manga, when Sanji announces his intention to cook for the rest of Don Krieg's men, the rest of the Baratie's cooks point pistols at him. In the anime, the cooks instead point enormous kitchen utensils (such as forks and spatulas) at Sanji.

In the manga, during the battle against Don Krieg, when Gin subdued Zeff, he did it by breaking Zeff's peg leg and pointing a gun at him. In the anime, Gin simply knocked him over and pointed the gun at him.

In Sanji's flashback in the manga, Zeff lost his leg by eating it. In the anime, he lost his leg by cutting it off when he was caught in some sinking ship debris.

During the battle against Don Krieg, in the manga, Krieg at first faked using the poisonous gas by using a shuriken bomb instead. This was not shown in the anime.

Once Zeff and Sanji start the Baratie, Sanji picks up smoking and claims that "he's a man now". This was cut out of the anime so as not to tell viewers that smoking equals maturity.

In the manga, Bellemere is shot in the head. However, this is edited in the anime and she was shot in the chest.

In the manga, Nojiko was shot by three marines ordered by Nezumi. However, in the anime, Nezumi himself shot Nojiko; he intended to hit Nami, but Nojiko got in the way.

In the manga, after Zoro healed over the first time from his injuries, Hatchan attempted to finish him by punching down a pillar and let it fall on the swordsman, though instead it would fall on Hatchan. He would then later burst out of the rubble with the swords. In the anime this did not happen, instead Hatchan showed off his skill in Rokutoryu to whip up a small twister.

The manga blatantly shows Dorry and Brogy beheading dinosaurs. In the anime, the scene of Brogy beheading the dinosaur is changed so that the audience is looking at its reflection in the water. The scene of Dorry beheading the dinosaur is implied but not shown directly.

In the manga, when Brogy broke free of Mr. 3's Candle Jacket and was knocked down again by Mr. 5, Mr. 3 restrains him by pinning his hands and feet to the ground with enormous swords made of wax. In the anime, Mr. 3 pins Brogy down with huge shackles made of wax.

In the manga, Dalton cuts off Wapol's head, and it is quickly sewn back on by the Isshi-20. In the anime, Wapol was simply slashed across the chest.

Mr. 2 Bon Kurei is an Okama in the manga, with the words "Okama way" on his back and practices Okama Kenpo. In the anime,however, he is a male ballerina with "Bon Kurei" on his back, and instead practices ballet kenpo. This is later changed to reflect the manga during the anime adaptation of the Impel Down arc.

When Bellamy accused Roshio of cheating in their game of cards. In the anime Bellamy just grabbed his arm, but in the manga, Bellamy stabbed him in the hand.

Luffy blasts a cannon ball at Foxy, which then knocks him down onto a bed of spikes impaling his face and body. In the anime, Foxy instead climbs onto the cannon ball in cartoon-like manner.

In the manga, Absalom stabs Sanji with a knife in the back. This scene was taken out in the broadcast version of the anime due to it's similarity to a recent knife massacre that had taken place in Japan.

In the manga, when Law met Kid in the auction house, he notably showed Kid his middle finger. In the anime, this was censored with Law simply giving Kid a smug look.

In the manga, Akainu's attack takes out half of Whitebeard's face. In the anime, however, it only takes off half of his moustache; his face unfazed. In a related matter, in the anime Akainu inflicts a second wound to Whitebeard's abdomen in absence of the face wound.

In the manga, when Sanji departs from the okamas' ship he flips them off, similar to Trafalgar Law's edit during the Sabaody Archipelago Arc.
