What if Cavendish became Laws first mate?

I mean... just look:

, ngl, it kinda maybe looks like foreshadowing possibly unlikely mehh

He's grown closer to Law and Luffy and doesn't want to kill them anymore

Only problem IMO is Hakuba would probably be able to easily kill Bepo... Possibly Jean depending on how strong he is

If by some ridiculous chance it does happen, how would you react? Would you be in favour of this or is it a "nay"?

Nah, i don't see Cavendish working under someone, especially one coming from the worse generation that overshadowed him. He likes when the attention is brought to him and he is a fine pirate captain on his own

Have you not seen the friendship dynamic coming into play? He might work under somebody, you never know, he listened to Luffys request, and Laws... he doesn't look down on them

He listened to Luffy's request only because he thought Luffy was asking him as a fan of him. Cavendish is a man of honor. He promised not to attack the strawhats anymore if Usopp saved him when he was a toy and so far, he is only respecting that promise and it extended to Law when Luffy said Law was his friend. So i won't say it's particularly a friendship that is going on here, but a moral code, but who knows how it will be developped in the future. Would certainly be interesting to watch anyway

"WHAT THE ****!?" is how I would react. Cavendish has repeatedly shown his desire to be more popular than the worst generation. Becoming a "servant" of one doesn't really help as his captain would get all the attention and glory.
