Zoro came back with a cut on his eye and closes that eye like it was cut but nothing has been explained about what happened to him.

So when I think about it, I think Cavandish was introduced as a Swordsman to give us a little hint on why Zoro eye is closed, Cavendish got a spirit or you can say an Alter-ego which is Hakuba and he can't control it, Hakuba comes when ever he feels like it and cut up evryone.

So based on this I believe the same thing happened to Zoro when he trained with Mihawk Ashura spirit might have become more of an alter-ego when he was in a corner against the Boboons and he cut them up like it was nothing and after he might have targeted Mehawk after that then Mehawk overpowered him and cut Zoro on the eye to bring back Zoro..

After that he might have told Zoro to keep his eye closed in order to seal-away Ashura until he can be able to control it or he will kill his friend instead of protecting them.

Rayleigh might also have sealed away his spirit, coz he got a same kind of Cut as Zoro, but now he doesn't need to as he can control his and Zoro can't yet, and Cavandish got no one to help him control Hakuba.

Based on this what do u think?

Isn't ashura a one shot K.O move?:|

Asura is a spirit that allows him to create a kyutoryu style(9swords style). The nature is still unknown, but it very likely has a relationship with his cursed swords. Pretty sure Cavendish is in the same situation too since he has a cursed blade and happens to have an alter-ego

Maybe we'd see Cavendish more in Wano to get a full explanation behind this

I always thought that the nine swords were nothing but an illusion but I guess I was wrong. And yeah it makes sense that it is spirits, zoro and ever since he got the swords was turning colder slowly as the series moved on.

Rayleigh does not have ashura bcoz if he haf he have used it on kizaru in SA arc. And zoro just got that cut during training and mihawk may have told him to close that eye for some great opponent bcoz it is difficult to aum with only one eye so it will just Improve His skills. In the future arcs zoro will definitely open his eye and it will give him just better reflexes and skills not any dual personality monster.

U can see the gods spirit in zoros attack in the image u have posted so having a relation with cursed swords in not likely possible.

Kinda makes sense on the point where Rayleigh, an experienced fighter has his scarred eyed open whilst Zoro does not. Hmm.

So, just because his eye was injured which can happen easily when training against bladed opponents he has to have some hidden spirit or whatever inside of him.. aswell as Rayleigh just because he also has a scar across his eye. But what about Shanks? he has three scars across his eye does that mean he has like three spirits?

Really, all these pointless theories about Zoro's left eye.. he just got injured simple as that.

There are no Pointless theories, Oda likes to give hints writing, and for us be give theories based on it, if Zoro scar was just a simple injury he would have made it clear, by letting one of the crewmate to ask about it.

Reyleigh was the first mate on Rogers ship and , and Zoro is Luffy's who is compared to Roger, and they have the same scar, they both fight using Swords, Reyleigh eye is open Zoro is closed and nothin has been explained why.

So its only far to write theories on it....and their is absolutly a story bihind that.

Yaa he didn't go all out but my point is , zoro will never have any monster form just bcoz he did asura. What if in upcoming arcs zoro opens his eye but oda don't show us in clear way just like he did with Doffy.
