Let me show you a typical delicacy of my island:

Casu marzu = rotten cheese in Sardinian language.

This is a sheep-milk cheese with fly larvae in it. And when I talk about fly larvae I mean they're alive. And when I say they're alive I mean they move around when you're eating them.

This cheese is illegal, and people smuggle it like it was a drug.
