About Carol, she had become just another animal that only knows how to survive. She disconnects from relationships afraid she might lose someone else. Carol is annoying as are the group, The Governor needs to appear and save this show, Honestly though her actions may have not been justified but they were somewhat understandable.

I completely agree with this. Although I'm pretty sure he role on this show is not complete. First, Daryl is going to be irate at what Rick did. Second, no one (of the originals) just goes away and disappears. She'll be like Andrea...find another group that somehow comes in contact with Rick et. al.

In a way, what Rick did he gave her a fighting chance at staying alive. The guy I can't remember his name right now, would have lost it once he found out it was Carol and probably would have either killed her, or at the very least attempted to. Once again, Daryl would have intervened and someone would have gotten seriously wounded if not killed.
