Due to the rarity of the class, the Logia has the third lowest known amount of users (if Mythical and Ancient Zoans are counted as different types of fruit, that is; if not, it's the rarest). To go along with this idea, most known Logia fruits seem to have been eaten by members of extremely powerful organizations (one Marine fleet admiral, one Marine admiral, one former Marine admiral, one Marine vice admiral, one former high ranking Marine scientist, a commander of the Whitebeard Pirates who was also the Pirate King's son, two former Shichibukai of the same position, one of whom was a president of Baroque Works and the other was a member of the Whitebeard Pirates and is now one of the Yonko, the former deified sovereign of Skypiea, an extra-officer of a Shichibukai, an elite officer of the same Shichibukai, and the second-in-command of the Revolutionary Army). Caribou is currently the only exception to this, being a rookie pirate captain, though he still has an incredibly high
Going by this, and looking at the opportunities Caribou has, I reckon he will become a Shichibukai further down the line if he isn't completely screwed up by Kaidou (because of these high authoritative positions Logia users all have). He could quite easily rectify an alliance with him. I wouldn't be surprised if he learnt to use Haki very soon after.
