How do I know if I want to work in an office environment, or a welding environment?
well i started out working in an office, but that sedentary kind of thing just didn't fit me. I like being able to move around and such so i went to work at a factory doing manual labor in which i honestly enjoy more. So since i know i like moving around so much i decided to work towards getting my certification as a computer technician and IT. (wont be stuck behind a desk and get to work with my hands)
I say all that to say you basically have to think about what is right for you. If you are a person that is ok with sitting behind a desk working on projects tapping away at a computer all day then i think office work will be best for you, but if you have a love for working with your hands then welding would be the proper way to go.
Welding is (a trade) also cheaper as far as expenses go if your country doesn't provide free University schooling (So no massive college debt hanging over your shoulders.)
For office work you are better off getting a degree in business (4 years in college)
