Well, I just got back from the theatre and I pulled a double feature. I watched Smurfs and then Captain America. I am blown away at the awesomeness of both of them!

SPOILERS BELOW.

Smurfs- It payed so much homage to the cartoon! Most adaptations pay minor ones, but this was just awesome. It had the Smurf feel plus more little things here and there. It was Smurftastic! It's awesome for all ages. Loved the voice cast, and honestly, I had no idea that George Lopez was voicing Grouchy. I knew Katy Perry was Smurfette, but I had no idea George was in it. I was like THAT'S GEORGE LOPEZ! xd Mad it even greater! I loved all the acting. It was good family humor. Neil Patrick Harris's acting and the story with his wife, forget her actual name lol, was really good and touching. Really Smurfsome film. Smurf rating: 10/10 Oh, and one part that made me laugh so hard was when Papa smurf launched himself infront of Gargomel's lightening to defend the other Smurfs. I was like HE PULLLED A ZUKO! It looked just liked it too!

Captain America: MARVEL WINS 2011. X-Men First Class was just amazing, and this....this was that+The action of Dark Knight. I don't read the comics from marvel and I know X-Men and Spidey had some issues, but they were great films, but Captain America blew me away. It had a good story. It had a good origin with humor, action, and drama, in that order. Stay for after the credits for an Avengers Trailer. Luckily, I walked in while the last ones were still playing and I saw the trailer before my movie time started xd Anyways, the ending of the film was so sad, and it made the movie awesome. 10/10

Awesome movies and great for anyone. Captain America had some awesome War stuff, so maybe not best for kids, but it was kick-ass.

Yeah I saw Captain America and it was great :D

But I refuse to see the Smurfs, why does everything need to be computer generated now. There's only been like two handdrawn movies in the last two years that I recall: Winnie the Pooh and Princess and the Frog. With those movies I could reconnect with my childhood to old school movies before everything was computer generated.

And the humor in the commercials seemed stupid to me. I'm not saying the movie is bad and I can't really judge it since I have never seen it I'm just not going to see it. But maybe when it comes on STARZ or HBO I may consider watching it.

I don't really care about the computer generation. Aslong as I like the all around movie, I'm find. I'm happy it was drawn because I guess I'm used to it, but that's just me xd

The movie's humor is really good. It has the Smurf feel. Kinda old school, but just awesome.

Captain America was simply amazing.
