Batman does bench 1000 fyi. The very peak of Human ability. Strength is really a moot point, and fighting prowess maybe even but batman has more tricks and arsenal up his sleeves that give him the edge he needs. When I said 50-50 I meant in a closed environment, like the octagon, lights on brawl. Add any other element and you are giving way for victory for batman.

I know you said 50/50, but Cap benches 1,200 which is higher than that, but you're right, it's a moot point.

Fair enough I guess.

Batman wins imo

though its true captain america has increase physical prowess.. the true power of batman lies within his mind.. not to mention he is said to have extensive martial arts knowledge

its often said in martial arts its not always the strongest that wins but the one who has the best technique and skills and in this case it is certainly batman.. to go along with his gadgets plus the power of his mind i do not see him loosing

Captain America is actually superhuman, Batman just happens to be one wealthy and lucky masochist.

Even without a plan i still think batman won't go down easy. Captain America will win at the end however because of his superiority and the fact that batman didn't have preparation.

maybe so however his intelligence is no where near that of batmans.. who created all his own gadgets, Batman is always prepared and his knowledge of martial arts is incredible.. captain america might have good will power but so does batman..

as i have said its not about the strongest in this case its about who plans far enough ahead to be able to predict his opponents moves since both are good in martial arts

if 2 people who are equal in martial arts were to fight each other the one who can stay one step ahead and predict his opponents actions is the one who will win... in this case batman would be without a doubt ahead of capt. america.. batman is always planning ahead..

if you combine is genius with his martial arts and gadgets then you cant beat him unless you can totally outspeed him and capt. america cannot do this

capt. america shield might be useful but compared to the arsenal batman carries its hardly going to help if batman whips out a type of sleeping gas or tranq which is most likely the case..

the only way for someone to beat batman effeicently is if they are able to restrain him before he can access his utility belt.. capt america has no way of doing this
