Can't Obito just take Madaras soul?

Since Obito can summon the Gedo Mazo, can he use the same jutsu Nagato had used against Hanzo and the root ninja?The one jutsu that if you use it a ton of rods pierce you spine and parilyze you. Because wouldn't basically take away madaras soul if he came in contact with the rinnegan dragon? Or is this just a technique for rinnegan users with both eyes?

The Gedo Mazo is part of the ten tails, so the summon would fail because it's sealed inside Madara

Even if he could summon the Gedo Mazo though, Madara is way too fast, he'd *****slap Obito even before he could make the hand seals for the summon
