Can't both uchiha siblings have EMS if they just swapped their eyes ?

Wouldn't two uchiha siblings have EMS if they just swapped their eyes ?Its easy peasy ...just transplant their eyes into each other while they are kids ..?

The eyes don't physically merge ..you can't fit two eyes in one socket can you ?The pattern they show is a merged one of the original and the transplanted one..So one pair is still left..and that could be transplanted into your sibling..

"That's not how it works either. Do you really think they would fuse the eyes? No. The pattern fuses not the eye. The original patter that the person gets comes from a chemical change in their brain. When they transplant the other persons eyes the design carries over and overlaps. They do not fuse. That is just ridiculous. I don't understand how people could come to that conclusion."

Back when izanagi was created almost every uchiha had MS

Their eyes merge with each other, with two possibilities. Either:

1) they merge physically

or

2) Original eyes of MS user pull essence/spiritual power of your sibiling's ms leaving it powerless normal eye or even blind.

I lean more towards second, as physically merge sounds strange

We don't know enough about the process, Mabey their are actually more requirements that we don't know about

1) you need ms
2) you need your brothers eye ( he needs ms )
3) your brother Has to be dead for you to gain EMS


- however, in cannon reasoning is that the uchiha donot know about the eye transfer, Madara was the first I discover that
Taking your brothers eye gives you EMS. Before that, people didnot
Know EMS existed- since they didnot know
About it, they were not switching eyes.

Furthermore, according to the manga, ms is extremely rare-

Saying it was common among the uchiha was only in the anime. It's filler
