I'm hoping that with this thread I can convert this Byakugan fans to reason and make them see what Kakashi actually meant by insight. When Kakashi said insight, he didn't mean the prediction of attacks, which is the Sharingan's specialty. He was speaking in relativity to the fact that despite both being dojutsu's, one's insight is on a completely different level and realm. Kishimoto should have been more specific since people are purposefully taking it out of context for their own self-validation.
The insight Kakashi speaks of is seeing through things and into thing, a capability both eyes have but one is more lacking than the other. For example, the Sharingan can see things on a cellular level, even able to see through their own skin and inside their veins if they wanted to. The Byakugan can do the same, but on a higher level, while seeing the entire chakra network and all of the organs. However, I would believe it's safe to argue that if the Sharingan can see through one's own skin it might be able to see organs as well.
The Byakugan does not share the same "insight" context as the Sharingan. The Sharingan is all about analyzing and countering while the Byakugan seems to be more about seeing as many things as possible, not in the sense of one's moves or jutsu, but their insides that they may attack vital points and chakra points.
Canonically and feat-wise, the Byakugan has no precognition but the Sharingan does have a feat of seeing into ones own veins which would require seeing through their own skin. We've become a bit too complacent on this sight to where we'll believe something without canonical feats but then demand them when someone else's theories don't fit our narrative. I want a manga canonical feat of Byakugan insight being anything like the Sharingan's and vice versa. If the Byakugan is higher than the Sharingan in insight then it would require their abilities to be the same but on a lower level than the other, but we all know their abilities are VASTLY different.
