i've seen a couple threads lately about "cannon(s)" but what exactly are they srry if stupid question

Cannon means it directly involves or adds to the story or is made by the creator. For example, filler is not cannon.

people throw cannon in your face if you try and cite anything from the anime in your arguments. if you ask me though thats crazy because i doubt kishi would let them put things in the anime that shows a character in a light that he didnt mean for them to be seen in....just me though
