[Suggestion] Cannon to Custom Bio

Hello there, population of NB!

I here to bring you a tiny suggestion. There are quite a few charismatic "Cannon" bio holders, that have more than just made the bio their own. These members possess a Cannon bio, which is accessible by many, but we all know they're far from it. Still, in terms of a RP story and interaction, we know these characters are different, but we're still forced to call them by a name they don't identify with.

Scorps is not Hashirama Senju, Negative Knight is not Kakuzu, Serpent is not Nagato, just to name a few. These members took a cannon bio and made it their own, but never truly, because they're still bound by personality, appearance and name, and there's only so much room to wiggle.

My suggestion is as such:

After x time RPing with a certain bio, I suggest 1 year or more, you could apply for an Adapted Bio, with a RP Moderator. These Adapted bios would have the same abilities as the cannon bio, but would be able of getting their own name, personality and appearance, along with a custom story and relationships.

In terms of power, in order to restrict these Adapted bios, they'd have the exact same rules, properties and restrictions of their cannon counterpart, down to the fact that they can't learn certain cannon techniques, or sign certain contracts. It hinders costumization, but still allows a much needed management of the power-scale. In essence, they would be a new skin for the character, and would do wonders to differentiate these not-so "cannon" bios (Because we all know they are different ), and officialize their differences.

So, to sum it all:

- Allow for members that have a cannon bio for more than x time to apply for an Adapted Bio
- X time could be something like 1 year.
- Adapted Bios would have the same abilities as the cannon bio, but different name, appearance, personality and history
- Adapted Bios would have the same restrictions as cannon bios.

Well, the difference is that these members would "earn" the biography skins, because they commited to the bio for a suitable amount of time, before departing to their own stories and customizations. All these bios, after so long, are already more custom than cannon, we're just officializing everything. And this wouldn't even be for everyone, anyone can just get a bio and then leave it rotting in the second bio slot until the time passes. A RP Moderator that follows the Rp even if loosely should know which members use which bios the best when pointed out to them, but even if not, when applying for the adapted bio, the member could link a few RP threads where they act or fight with the bio.

Is this what happened to Yusuke and his custom Sand bio?

This would essentially be the same as the skin bio that was proposed in the past, just more specialized, but the core concept is the same and Cali has said that he is completely against this.

The diference is that people asked for the skin bios without any sort of wait, it would just be an immediate thing right after getting permission to learn the bio. One of the reason he gave for not wanting skin bio was in order to not lose Cannon bios in the RP. But with this we'd only reward people that have found the set of abilities they want, and want to make a bio of their own, after having RPed for quite some time with the cannon bio.

It's not everyone that has RPed with a cannon bio as a main bio for more than a year, and we can even increase this limit. And With the 3rd Bio Slot system, there would still be plenty of cannon bio holders there, not to mention that many cannon bios would still be around here for the people just trying out bios. If someone made a commitement to the site and the bio for such a long time, why not be rewarded and have the person make a unique bio?

i was denied something like this but i completely agree, why be limited in this rp just because you want o rp with a character. I had to drop a bio i held for a year because i couldn't add anything to it.
