I wouldn't say boring. He just brings the basics to the ring and executes it perfectly. No power, nothing too out of the ordinary, just some old fashioned boxing. But i agree, i expected more from Canelo.

I agree, he does. But ill be content if he retires undefeated, hes a smart fighter although many people will disagree.

Before this, everybody was yelling for floyd to fight Canelo and saying he is scared because he "doesn't fight young upcoming champions". Just like they said Floyd was scared to face Shane Mosely. After this, now they gonna say Mayweather handpicked again...
Mayweather still have problems with Bob Arum which is more than likely the main reason why Floyd and Manny never fought. If Manny left Bob Arum, then the fight probably may have happened. Same thing happened with Cotto. Floyd contacted Manny personally to make the fight happen.

He is incredibly smart as a boxer. His persona comes across pretty sadly though. There is nothing wrong with being the greatest and knowing it. But the perception of Mayweather as a jerk by many, may just never change.
