I dedicate this poem to all that had fought cancer or have/had any family members, friends and partners fighting this menace. (sorry it's a sad one
)
You enter human lives,
Discreetly, with no remorse.
You hit at unforeseen times,
And proceed your bloody course.
No discrimination will you show;
Any person will do.
Your growth does not slow,
Until death is due.
I’m sick of hearing “just few months”
While lives have not been led.
And tired of wiping tears up,
Over tumors that have been spread.
I long you leave us all alone,
So we can live the way we plead.
If only humans were less prone,
To satisfy your greed.
You enter human lives,
Discreetly, with no remorse.
You hit at unforeseen times,
And proceed your bloody course.
No discrimination will you show;
Any person will do.
Your growth does not slow,
Until death is due.
I’m sick of hearing “just few months”
While lives have not been led.
And tired of wiping tears up,
Over tumors that have been spread.
I long you leave us all alone,
So we can live the way we plead.
If only humans were less prone,
To satisfy your greed.
