Canadian political test controversy

[Yeah right]

So I read an article about a pissed off parent who was told by his child that to be on the political right, means that you are racist.

The test is an either/or. left or right.

So why wouldn’t a racist be considered politically right?
If the base is more than 50% racist, it’s a trait of that ideology.

People on the left, mostly, identity to help minorities, immigrants, poor, support better education, etc.

So basically, people in the political left would be less likely to be racist.


Do you guys agree? Disagree? Discuss.

Is it fair to say, statistically, to be on the right, means a higher probability of being a racist?

I’m talking about broad strokes. Not specifics. Not the guy you know who is onthe right but is not racist.

People want to be politically incorrect, they don't want that to mean they are bad people.
But people also want to point out problems with culture they deem bad like ideologically based media, that aims for the left, and terrorism and anti democratic values with Islam, they do this in a generalizing way.

That's how much I figure but I don't know what it means.


I actually think socialism is admirable, and respectable, maybe politics even more to the left is a bit too much, and sort of edgy.


I think there are people who make being progressive into something cool but it doesn't mean they force it everywhere. Sometimes what people define as ideogoically biased stuff is just considered common sense.

Like Jordan Peterson said Frozen was bad cus it had a female strong protagnoist or something and Moana was better cus it had a strong male character the female had to rely on, which immidiately made me unsubscribe to his nonsense.

I mean If you think frozen is bad cus it has a female protagonist you have the wrong priorities in life.


And I don't think CNN considers themselves to be ideologically biased.



I have also noticed that a lot of people on the far right talk about them being bullied, that they are not racist, they just like people who are nice wherever they are from, and they don't like forced multiculturalism and stuff. They also like nationalism. I don't know what it means.


I don't know if I believe Peterson when he says gender studies is politics, how SJW are radical leftists.


I don't think anything is as simple as to point out that right or left is either good or bad.


I don't think Hitler was necessarily a capitalist, I don't think Marx would have agreed with Mao or Stalin either.

I think you could link anything to something bad. Maybe slavery is part of capitalism or child labor in the past. Big deals, companies being swallowed.

Just like bad anarchy and mass murder is part of communism.


I wonder, it must become awkward if like family members starts to have different views in poltiics and discuss it with each other.

Imagine if one person is like someone who voted for Trump and the other voted for Hillary. :S

Also Steve Bannon said Oprah is leftwing populism, she is fricken celebrity not a politican, what the hell how stupid is he? So childish.

I guess I'm the new Aim64, I should try to come up with some conspiracy theories and lure people to my cause.

I saw a doc, that said they shot protesters at a campus to death, cus they were acting stupidly supporting the enemy or something during vietman, and people rooted for the police lol.

Like noone is active here anymore. It's so boring xD.
