I played max payne 1 and 2, couldn't ride in cars for either of them. Also max payne is a first person shooter, it focuses on the gun fights like hiding behind cover and jumping around the corner in slow motion shooting everyone, driving a car would kind of ruin that gun blazing action part of the game.

idk about max payne 1 or 2 but max payne 3 however is 3rd person behind the shoulder style. NO there is no driving just vehicle shooting parts of the mission but your not controlling the vehicle( No spoilers to honor the thread of course) and i suggest you holla at a copy of max payne 3 for the story and multiplayer....story is like a movie and its a damn good movie!

Also if you wondering about its multiplayer integrity...they are going to take all crews/clans made in max payne 3 and load them over to gta5...so max payne 3 is practice for gta5 but im thinking gta5 is going to be their "golden egg"until the next game. but yeah multiplayer for MP3 is superb...all you hear is max payne saying amazing quotes for winning/losing vendettas its a really great game..and bulletdodgin thru cover is sick as well lol
