It can't be petra. Seeing as how yin kurama, 10% gyuki and 10% shukaku retained their consciousness. Petra never does that, it changes the chakra into the users.

He couldn't handle pure natural energy. It wasn't balanced correctly.
It takes 2 frs to kill naruto's sm at that time yet petra absorbed 1 without any problems.

Natural energy=/=sage chakra.

Too much natural energy it what causes petrification.

It's bz's ability. BZ did it to yin kurama.
