I don't think Sage of six paths was more powerfull
but most of the people think due to rinnegan and due to uncovering the mystery of ninjutsu sage of six paths is powerfull
my point is that rikoudou got chakra from his mother and took years to master ninjutsu and uncover the mystery
which madara could have easily done in his prime form
but yet we have not seen all the powers of madara plus he is remarkable user of genjutsu than Sage of six paths
Another interesting fact is that Rinnegan could be countered using genjutsu which madara could easily do

Disagree Because the Sage of 6 Paths was able to defeat the juubi and tame it which no one has done it ever again. Even obito didn't become the Juubi jinchuriki while defeating the juubi. the juubi was damaged by his own bijuu dama and restrained by the Onmyodon and the Juuubi at that time wasn't even at his final form so SO6P >>>>> NV

It's currently unclear as to how the Sage of Six Paths managed to defeat the Juubi. Either way... There is a misconception, when it comes to the sage knowing "All" Ninjutsu.

It's pretty clear that he did not know all Ninjutsu, as he did not create Ninjutsu in general. He merely figured out how to wield it like the present Shinobi of the Era!

I'm still skeptical about how strong he really was, although i am not going automatically claiming that he is the strongest.

I must disagree.....imho I believe Genjutsu doesn't work on Rikudou. I feel once you try to use it on him...it's reversed on you 100 fold.

Really? He probably had immense chakra levels from being the son of Kaguya, who ate the fruit. On top of that, he's already been hinted to having reality altering techniques with no consequence. Since creation of all things requires a balance of yin and yang chakras, he probably was well versed with genjutsu as well. Another thing to consider is that he made Kinkaku and Ginkuaku's tools.
