Can Yata Mirror defend against 8th Guy?

Yata mirror defends against all nature types, but I doubt it could defend against a physical attack that manipulates space.

Here it looks like Guy's punch was powerful enough to struggle Madara when he tried to defend himself with Juubi's power. In that case, his Elephant Leg was said to be very big and fast, and it cannot be dodged unless you have Space-time tech or other similar jutsus. So the question is, can Itachi's Yata Mirror defend against it?

Here, we can tell that Guy's attack from this page was able to strike down Madara's staff and shell protection in one blow and create amount of power, which means it creates a vacuum of pressurised air pushing you towards like an air canon, as Madara stated himself.

In other words, his speed has shown to be extremely fast even The Sharingan and Rinnegan cannot read his movements. Yata Mirror might possibility defend against Guy's first punch, however...

From this page, you can see that Guy's first punch was avoided, which means Yata Mirror can defend against it, but as I mentioned earlier, Itachi focuses on the first punch, and Guy can immediately go behind the user who controls Yata Mirror to perform his second punch behind their back, also Susanoo as shown from this page. You can't really protect yourself from 5 powerful punches. If someone as Tsunade can break Madara's Susanoo, then Guy can do it as well, no doubt.


MY POINT IS THAT, Yata Mirror can't defend against all attacks from Guy's Evening Elephant since he can destroy Itachi's Susanoo.

This thread might been made, but I just want to share this and see for myself that Yata Mirror can't defend all attacks because Susanoo relies too much chakra and stamina.

What do you guys think, AND if you disagree then give me a good explanation.

Yata mirror is said to be able to deflect ALL attacks, not deflect all attacks that the Susano'o itself can withstand. and also Yata Mirror can expand itself to nearly surround all of Susano'o

I disagree because Gai is too fast and he can attack from the back like he did against Madara when he used the black shield

Also I dont believe Yata Mirror would work against Gai's actual fist. Even madara said that he must not let Gai hit him directly. (Even though Madara let him). Gai's punch was strong enough to force Madara out of Omyoudon defence. It could definitely get through Yata

Yata Mirror repels any and all attacks, it may take the form of anything so the shield has an endless range of protection and the wielder of Yata mirror is shielded from all attacks countering them, it's the ultimate defense. Theoretically Itachi can have Yata mirror protect him from all sides, the only problem in this scenario is Gai's speed. It can deflect him but Gai's speed holds him advantageous.
