Well I'm under the impression the ones that okays those things are long gone lol I saw Zise the other day for about five minutes. I know him and Rei are two of the big shots. Who else? V? I wish/thought Avani had more capabilities. Hopefully they have the same permissions and can/will start to make some changes. Good ones. Can't solely place it on them tho... Avani has done a lot to keep this site breathing lol

They are letting the site die, they are all busy and have their own personal lives. It’s not worth exhausting energy on a site with two active users at a time.

This site is almost 20 years old. We mostly stopped being active years ago. Avani is basically a fancy global mod, not a developer.
Caliburn isn’t a developer. I don’t think rei is a developer.
V lets zise run the site. They seem like professionals developers.

Minamoto replaced sir derp obito as top active member.

gamahiro is not here.
Zombie has knowledge but is a zombie.

there was a user named zonder but he is not here.

I don’t think zise would let Rohan run anime base.

We have global mods but they are not active.

Jas is not active.

We are not allowed to talk about other forums or platforms, so we can’t recruit.

So the more data we post, v has to pay for it. (Everything has a price)

We need a mission statement from v and zise.

Bold one is indeed a fact. We're all just waiting for absolution at this point, lol.
I'm here still for 3 very specific reasons and those are paper thin..

Reason 1: This is still my homepage on my 16-18 years old pc. In fact I think I got it the same year I made this account. Windows support for this hardware stops October this year so when I finally buy a new pc I don't think this will be my homepage anymore, which brings us to..

Reason 2: My never ending bucket-list. When I finished writing on this site 10 years ago I put rereading my entire work on my bucket list. Problem was that I had 100s of games on the same list and it's simply taken me 10 years to get ahead. I am still not ahead but I am finally expecting to be able to finish rereading my story either this fall or early spring next year (I started 3 years ago but stopped). So in reality, both of those reasons are vague as fu*k, which basically only brings me to the final reason to still log in, that is what you hinted at..

Reason 3: NB's 20th anniversary and quite possibly the end(?). There's no proof for any such claim, but if I were V and had this site I think being able to say that I owned a site that ran for 20 years would be something I would aim to be able to say. Anything beyond 20 is not really necessary and I don't see this site running for 25 years until 2032 tbh. So with that said, 2027 has been a year I've been looking at with interest for these past 5 years for sure.

Bold 2: This sounds so familiar, I might even have planted that idea in one of our past conversations. Bianca was banned even before I joined and was supposedly an admin at 14 years of age, lmao. Cali retold the story to me 15 years ago but I've forgotten almost every detail.

The point is there is rich history here and it be a death to fun if it is finally let go. thumbs up to those still getting premium on a steady, they are the real MVP
