Well, ofcourse we are too dependant on technology. No scratch that, we're hooked on it more than Charlie Sheen is hooked on coke. Now while there are positive aspects of the entire wireless brain controlling our habits, our lives; the negative conotations of it are prevailing.

We will continue to be technology addicted cuz we're in way to deep now; but do try to be more balanced, more mindful, more present.

Be here.

Long time no see Noto. HNY.

Ot:
Of the thread? To get ppl to think and to question everything. To ignite.
Same here, happy new year my friend.

OT: I believe that if there were any auto correct in humans, we would be somewhat like a robot... humans and perfect cant be in the same sentence. This is what I can take or think about this topic.

Well..kids these days are smarter than we were back in the day...

And that's a fact.

So idk where's the problem in us using technology all the time.

It's so dense to say we're too dependant on technology. Too dependant compared to what? There is no comparison to be made. It is just our current era, and will undoubtedly shift to something different as time elapses.

It's like saying people in the Industrial Revolution were too dependant on coal...

It's not a fact. The Flynn effect past its peak over 10 years ago and I witnessed it within children 6-7 years younger than me. As I finished my A-Levels, my school was having to hire extra learning assistants because children were coming into school struggling to read, do simple maths or even tell the time. Even the special needs kids of my generation could tell the time before they hit secondary.

I can see it even in the average kids years younger; they struggle more with learning in general.

What?
My 2y old cousin is "speaking" 2 languages.

She is 2y old. I didn't know a single word of english and german untill I was 10/11y old.

Kids can just learn with technology they won't get stupid 'cause of it.

It's not dense it's realistic. Majority of the population can't even take a dump before making a status about it, tweeting it etc.
Maybe it was too strong of a word, but yeah, dude just imagine a massive power outage on the global level. Imagine a sudden internet collapse; if the entire wireless network fails for like only couple of days, a massive havoc on a global scale would occur. Sad but true.

We still burn coal in rediculous quantities btw. Which is also retarded but that's a different story.

Well, you're cousin is just a genius or something. Kids her age that I know of still struggle to learn their mother tongue. xP
As I see it kids these days just have more accessibility to new technologies than we did. It doesn't make them stupid, but doesn't necessarily make them smarter, either.

Mass extinction is the only route or else natural selection will take billions of years to create perfect humans
So in order to become more humane, in touch with ourselves, others and our planet; mass extinction should take place? :|

You must be a real cup of sunshine to hangout with.
