Okay plausible, but if Obito couldn't stop Naruto with it why would Sasuke be more successful using the same tactic?

Even Madara had to summon the Gedo Mazo to bind the beasts when fighting Naruto, and Naruto was much weaker than.

Like I said, it wouldn't matter since they fight at close range.

You have a major error in reasoning.

Just because an event doesn't occur, that doesn't mean that it can't. There are numerous things which never happened in the manga which are perfectly plausible.

For example, why didn't Kaguya teleport Team 7 into the acid dimension? Or, why didn't SM Naruto use an Oodama rasengan on Juubito?

The actions of the characters are determined by plot; AKA Kishi. If Kishi wants the Ramen guy to beat RSM Naruto, then he certainly will, even if such an event isn't plausible.

It was established that Preta path absorbs chakra. Hence, in any debate, Preta path > Naruto's chakra based attacks.
