the difference between Minato & Itachi is Minato moves around a lot... Itachi stands still a lot.

If Minato tries to place a seal on Itachi, he will have to touch him.. If he touches him.. Itachi can automatically place him in genjutsu without Minato knowing it.. touching Itachi places you in genjutsu ..

Alive Minato doesn't have Kurama chakra in his arsenal cuz It is too heavy on his body..
Its kinda like Gohan in OOzaru form sleeping on top of Goku in human form.. (before meeting Raditz)
