Can Water Clones use jutsu?

Ok ie been wondering if when the user uses water clone jutsu, can he make the clones use a jutsu? if so does the user or the clone make the handsigns? and which type of jutsu can they do?

i think they can since they are clones and they can cast the same jutsu the creator of the clone can. the only drawback is that they are made from water which means u need water near by. unlike shadow clones where they can me made from nothing

Yes they can. Kisame made 3 water clones who in turn used the water prison jutsu. They made the hand seals themselves.

Yes they can. Just like how shadow clones can. Zabuza's clones cast jutsu and so did Kisame's and it wasn't even really him (his chakra put into that sand ninjas body) against Team Guy

Yes water clones can perform jutsu.

Since a water clone is only has 1/10 of the originals power it more than likely can only perform lowly jutsu, unless it's a water clone from Kisame which 1/10 of his power is still alot.

The Water Clone performs the handsigns under direct order of the original's command/will.
