I think Madara killed Izuna cause somewhere in his heart Madara wanted peace and Izuna didn't.... Madara asked Hashi to either kill himself or Tobirama cause Madara wanted to see if Hashi was ready to pay the same price for peace as Madara did....

I feel Izuna didn't die of Tobirama's attack wound cause Kishi sama showed Izuna getting injured but there is no death scene of Izuna.... So Izuna's death is still pretty much a mystery....

Yeah.... My point is if Kishi sama wanted Izuna to die at Hashi or Tobirama's hands.... He could have directly shown it.... There was no need to show him first getting wounded and then dying....
