i think immortal means means immmortal, and it is stated that while the technique is active she cannot die, so my answer is yes, she would survive.she is like a edo tsunade.

I say no...there is no jutsu tsunade has that will save her. I mean in s7 of naruto when naruto was fighting orochimaru he said if the tbb was to touch him even he will die.

Orochimaru was jealous of her immortality jutsu,he was able to survive being cut in half easily,and was in danger of being killed by 4tk naruto because of his weakened state.,so that sugggests that her healing jutsu might be more effective than his own.She can punch it away,or deflect it,as km naruto was able to do so to the hachibi tbb,and tsunade is much stronger than km naruto physically,so ot's safe to say that she can stop and deflect a tbb from hachibi downwards,i dont know abt kurama,though with her strength,she just might. It is also said she is immortal while in her healing mode,and she cant die,however i dont think a tbb was included there,though she probably knows abt tbb,and is still certain she is immortal may say that she just might tank it,though she should be able to tank partial chakra shrouds chakra blasts,however,she can dodge it as she is a trained medical nin. So since she can dodge and smack it away,why would she want to tank it?:shrug:
