Though she sure can join broken limbs together without stitching . unlike what kakuzu did (stitching) she can join body parts back with the help of katsuyu (her slug pardon me if i got the name wrong) as was shown in manga with assistance of Orochimaru.

She can, it's a manga fact, she added to much emphasis on the fact that she could regrow them, it isn't basic recovery it regeneration. When she was bisected , she was in her regeneration mode.

That not hype really,MIT more of a title of admiration, they are two different things, why would Tsunade lie. Lol
And Katsuyu abilities suggest it's truest, seeing as how she was able to remotely regenerate other via Katsuyu and how the Sannin seems to adapt the abilities of their summons

That's why Tsunade survived a bisection in the first place. But I never have seen a slug regenerating limbs, have you? And Tsunade also thought that she has a chance against Madara, and we all know what happened. Madara: "healing without signs.. I see, it's just like hashirama's technique" and Madara couldn't regenerate his arm after he lost it during the Bjuu hunting.

Tsunade seal was being used to heal the other Kage not herself. Madara and Tsunade healing is different though.
