Can the Fire daimyo fire the Hokage?

Can the Fire daimyo fire the Hokage? does he have the authority to terminate the Hokage's reign if he so desires?

It is kinda weird. In a world where individuals are ranked solely based on their physical abilities, we have daimyo who lacks any kind of physical prowess, yet supposedly has some authority over the ninja in his country.

I think the Daimyo is more of the financial authority. He does have a say and may petition against a Hokage but there still needs to be a vote. It's kinda like how a President can't fire his/her Vice-President.

Not on his own,there needs to be a council first and a vote. Also he cant choose the hokage alone,first he has a meeting,then he brungs the candidate,if the vote is positive,then the jonins of the hidden village decide to agree or disagree,if they agree than that person is hokage,if not that person is not the hokage. The hokage and the Daimyo are actually around the same level in post.

Yeah I remember Kakashi mentioning that the jonins had to vote on new hokage so I would imagine a similar vote is needed to relieve one from duty. I think the third Hokage is the only Kage to step down as Kage without it being caused by death. Though it would seem he was voted back to Hokage after minatos sacrifice.

No.. A Daimyo cannot fire a Kage.. It's like how the Queen cannot fire his Prime Minister.. the Kage reports to the Daimyo and the Daimyo may nominate who becomes Kage, but simply saying he can fire a Kage is not just true..

To be fair, I think the Daimyo should be someone who is ex-Hokage or ex-shinobi of Hokage level.

Without the Daiymo's controling the moneyflow through the world the ninja would still be clans murdering each other out..
