You're so right. Also, Itachi's Tsukiyomi doesn't work on Hyuga. They are immune to it. It's obvious since there is no panel in the entire manga where Itachi uses it on a Hyuga, right?

I'm talking about when Diedara blew his bigger self up. Would a Byakugan be able to see the nano sized bombs or would it see the chakra color on them like Sasuke did.

I think the thing people are forgetting is that the Sharingan can see chakra in terms of color. Those nano-sized bombs were giving off Deidara's chakra color. And with literally trillions of them clustered inside Sasuke's body filling him up he was able to see the chakra each nano was giving off. I think he also mentioned that when that giant deidara exploded the entire area was like one blanket of Deidara's chakra color.

In this particular field I believe it was noted that Byakugan surpasses the Sharingan. The Hiding in the Mist Jutsu works in the Sharingan because they are blinded by the chakra color everywhere whereas the Byakugan not only sees through it, but from whom it originated.

I bring this up as an example to where the Byakugan "insight" feat may surpass the Sharingan, which is where I draw the conclusion that the Byakugan can indeed see in a molecular level.

Just deductive assumptions here. I don't have any concrete scans or facts.

But seriously, though, why does it matter so much to you if the Byakugan can do one thing better than the Sharingan? Are you so in love with the Uchihas/hate the Hyuga so much that you don't want the Hyuga to be better at something?

OP: I think that was Kishi szooming up into sasuke's bloodstream so he could show us the bombs in sasuke's bloodstream. If the sharingan was capable of this why didn't Tobi immediately recognize what Torune did to him. He first theorized it was some sort of chakra injection but he then made the conclusion it was bugs not because of his sharingan but because of observations.

If Saske was able to set off his chakra from Deidara's, it must mean that he can see chakra signatures.

He only made the conclusion it was bugs/bacteria after Torune heals him. Plus wasn't he using the sharingan the whole time. The top right panel is showing what Tobi sees w/ sharingan and he is observing what seems to be torune infected with a foreign chakra. Then he makes the wrong statement that it's a jutsu about chakra insertion. The middle two right panels show Torune healing Fuu and then Tobi concludes it's bacteria/bugs. The fact that Kishi only made Tobi realize what the jutsu was really about only after it was shown Torune healed Fuu implies that he couldn't see any insects.

You must be thinking about the anime scene which shows Obito focusing and zooms in on the bugs. But in the manga he was using Sharingan to begin with (otherwise he wouldn't see the "x-ray" image of Fuu on the top left).
