I think it can differ if for example you are a child and you do something stupid, people see it as just that, but if an adult does something dumb then it can be different, for example if you drive but you don't have a license, you might not want to do anything wrong but you could cause a traffic accident which could kill people, those people were completely innocent and you ruined their lives because of your incompetence, you can also upset people and so people might think you are not just stupid but even evil. What do you think?

No, good and evil are subjective.

Willful stupidity is probably selfish but I don't think you could just label stupidity itself as evil. It might lead to acts a majority of people would consider "evil" but it isn't inherently evil in itself.

Unless you want to consider being selfish evil? Then I suppose you could throw the caveat that anyone choosing to be stupid is evil. But that just sounds....stupid haha.

Fun question.

It doesn't take good genes to not be stupid. It takes initiative to give things a decent thought, regardless of intelectual capacity.
Stupidity is always more or less self-induced, and therefore passively evil through its careless nature and resulted lack of self awareness.

jk feel free to be retarded :bdpf:

Yea one always has the opportunity to become aware but to stay ignorant for the better of others or self is evil.

Depends on what stupid thing you're doing and your intent.

Like, if you do something stupid that hurts or may hurt someone but you're completely ignorant or oblivious about it and you don't really mean to hurt them then no, it isn't evil. Otherwise, yeah, possibly. Like i said, it all depends on intention.

If you categorize intentional negligence as stupidity, than yes.

No, good and evil are subjective.
If you think evil is subjective than your answer to the question, "can stupidity be considered evil" should be yes.

I said "subjective," therefore, it could be yes and no. Besides, it is the intent that matters.

If that stupid decision or action affects too many people and create damage that can't recover then it's yes .

It's a negative trait but it's more of a handicap than evil.

Of course, its evil. Why? Cuz people get frustrated and mentally shocked by it. You should try using logic at all times to save people's mind goggling and anger hesitating moments.
