I don't think so the armor blocks the chakra ports and gives an adequate defense but hidan's scythe has three points of impact, sharp, and if swung should cut or break the armor but then again I could be wrong.

The armor doesn't block chakra points. It's sticky gold emitted from the pores and covers the skin.
