Can someone with infractions become a mod? I have an infraction but IDK what it is. I want to become a mod too. So do infractions effect the chance of becoming one?

How many pages of them do you have?

They probably pose an influence but I suppose it really depends how many you have according to the length of time you've been here. If you have page after page and you've only been a member for a shorter amount of time, it's not going to do you any favours.

But I do remember this question being asked before, and it was said that you have a chance.

If you have an infraction, then your chances of becoming a mod are already low.

You definitely have a lot more than that. Anyway, I'd say go for it. You have nothing to lose.

I already posted a mod application but I feel like there's no hope in me becoming a moderator right now. So where do I go to view when my infraction will expire?

Check your user CP.

I saw your mod app.

It should mention the expiration date on the infraction, which you can see in your User CP. I think you can also see it in the PM alerting you that you were infracted.

Infraction history doesn't count towards being a mod or not. The admins and the staff are aware of rule breaking members, but that alone doesn't disqualify you. I was banned once and became a mod a year later, so it really doesn't matter. As long as you fit the requirements admins are asking for in the app announcement that alone is enough to at least get you an interview. So you should give it a try and I wish you best of luck!
Cheers ^^

Having infractions doesn't decrease your chance of becoming a moderator. I'm very sure alot of the mods, previous and current, have all had atleast one infraction in their life on the base. But it does slightly revolve around the severity of your action.

And to view your current and previous infractions along with the expiration dates of the said infractions, check your profile and you'll see a tab labelled "infractions"

How do they do the interview?

Why can't I see other people's apps?

Yes you can but the fewer the better. Also OT you have one active infraction, not just one infraction.
