The art and the way the text was writen made me question it. The person who made this must understand Oda's text technique for One Piece very well. That's how I imagine Sabo would have looked if he had the chance to grow up.

You should be aware it's fanart if you were reading the manga from a long ago. Any reader remembers from chapter 1 until now.

Also, isn't it so obvious that Sabo is alive? Add to that, there are many fanarts of Sabo in the same clothes.
