He was abandoned. He met Iceberg and Tom. They thought him how to be a shipright. Franky kept making weapons. Iceberg told him to stop. He didn't. One day, the leader of CP9 took Franky's weapons and used them to attack Water 7. Franky, Tom and Iceberg were injured. Tom was blamed. Tom, Franky and Iceberg were about to be imprisoned. Franky then denounced his creations. Tom yelled at him and told him to love,all his creations, no matter what because that's what makes a true engineer. Tom used a previous pardon he had, which was from the crime of building Gol D. Roger's ship, to pardon Iceberg and Franky, saving them. Tom went to jail. The CP9 leader had framed Tom. Iceberg and Franky were then on partially bad terms.
