I constantly see Gaara>Ay Gaara>Onoki Gaara>Mei and I can't figure out how gaara would win this unless he's in a desert......Can someone please tell me how he beats them??

Raiton>Doton Ay speed alone should be able to take gaara no dif
Suiton>Doton Mei is highly underrated but she has more than enough to take out gaara
Onoki uses jinton and erases gaara.

I might seem like im bashing him but I am not. I like gaara but I believe hes overhyped and overrated

Probably because he is 20 years younger than Mei who is the 2nd youngest and he's on par with them now. Give him the time they've all had to develop and gain experience and strength then think about it. He has the potential to be stronger than all of them even if he isn't right now. He could theoretically learn his father's gold dust tech as well as 3rd's black sand to help stop ration and suiton. You should take into consideration you're comparing a child to a fully grown adult, again, if Gaara gets his 30 years to train he'll be stronger or at least just as strong as the other Kage.

The only one who poses a threat to Gaara is Ohnoki because he can also take flight and combat Gaara in the air. Ay can't reach Gaara; neither can Mei or Tsunade. Ohnoki is probably the most powerful right now, but Gaara will clearly be the most powerful in a little while. But if and when Naruto/Sasuke become Hokage, he will far usurp him regardless.

not sure about the rest but he can beat ay or onooki. ay too quick for his to catch and onooki can render sand useless
