Can someone explain the ages of Kakashi's generation to me?

Okay so here are the things that we know which are stated in the databook:

-Kakashi became a chunin at 6
-Obito graduated from the academy at 9 and became a chunin at 11 years old
-Rin also graduated from the academy at 9 and became a chunin at 11 years old
-Gai graduated at 7 years old and became a chunin at 11 years old
-Hayate graduated at 12 and became a chunin at 13 years old
-Anko graduated at 10 and became a chunin at 12 years old.

It's been stated somewhere that Kakashi is four years younger than Obito, Rin and Gai.

Now this doesn't seem right as:
-A 13 year old Rin would be in love with a 9 year old Kakashi.
-Kakashi, Obito, Rin and Gai all had similar heights, which means that Obito, Rin and Gai are really short or Kakashi had a large growth spurt.
-A 10 year old Gai would have taken on a 6 year old Kakashi back at the Chunin exams in the flashback and once again, they both look really the same age.
-Since Kakashi became a chunin at 6 that would mean that Hayate and Anko would have been 3 and 2 years old during their first chunin exam which as Shown in chapter 599, they clearly aren't.

So can someone explain this to me? Is kakashi really 4 years younger than Obito, Rin and Gai or are they all the same age?

Kishimoto is bad at drawing characters according to their age.
Itachi is a great example.

The only explanation is that Kishi didn't think that far ahead when writing the DB. it's like the kamui vs yata mirror debate that's been going on.

Kakashi is one years Yonger Than Obito and Rin He surpased Everyone bycous he Was genius he defeated Guy who was then beaten by Kakashi allowing him to rise to the rank of chūnin.Obito did attain the rank some years later at the age of eleven.Not everyone culd become Chūnin Just thous who uses Inteligence and Skills and combines attacks Kakashi was one of that kind...

And Anko taking the Chunin exams as a 2 year old doesn't seem that weird to me. She was clearly very talented xD

But in all seriousness I've wondered about this myself. Kishi probably just messed it up, but it's not like it matters much if you ask me.

Obito is 4 year older than Kakshi I read a theory on it, unfortunately I amnot able to find one..
