Can somebody fill me in as to what happened on "Naruto: The Last"?

I really don't have time to watch it, and I'm confused by some stuff in Gaiden (like the onion head Uchiha).

Basically: Naruto is really popular in the village, a lot of girls want him to be their boyfriend, Sakura tells Naruto why he never really loved her, Naruto spends half the film being all awkward around Hinata, we get a bunch of touchy feely moments that should have been in the manga to justify NaruHina, Toneri is a major bad ass who kidnaps Hinata's sister, they go on a rescue for her, Hinata allows herself to be kidnapped to save Naruto, the ninja villages get together to blow up the moon using a weapon the Raikage created, Sasuke pops in to destroy a meteor, Sasuke goes off to destroy meteors to protect the village, Naruto fights Toeneri, Hinata helps him defeat him, and then Naruto has children.

Kishi did what Toriyama is doing with the movies and the new anime. The Last, just like the novels, are cannon and fill in the plot holes left during the 10 yr period.

The onion head is possibly an experiment maybe a orichimaru experiment because I believe it was mentioned in Naruto gaiden manga 1-whatever and his name is shin uchiha and shin somehow has kamui. Shin also has a master who hasn't been revealed yet. Ooooooh
Naruto is the seventh hokage. All of the hokages are working together for peace. Naruto and hinata have a boy and a girl. Kakashi is the sixth hokage. Boruto is naruto's son. Sarada is told to be sasuke's and sakura's child. Sarada has never met her father before and follows Naruto to meet sasuke to a tower. Sasuke is late for a meeting with all the hokages. Shin tries to kidnap sarada but Naruto intervenes. That's all I know. Am I right or wrong guys??

Mostly a love story except some scenes where he first fights Toneri get's his chakra drained is out for 3 days then returns to fight the guy and completely beats him, there's a pic of him focusing kurama chakra in his arm only and punching him so hard it creates a crater in that spot he punched Toneri in

Also in the last he was able to bring out Kurama separately where he went to fight some statue somewhere else while Naruto fought Toneri

u don't need to watch movie to understand gaiden . its cont of ch 700.
in movie: kaguya's 2nd son hamura with byakugan left to moon to watch over jubi's shell.but his clan goes under civil war .they have their eyes that is byakugan sealed within energy vessel .branch family member toneri wants to destroy earth by falling moon on it by destroying that energy container bcz he thought humanity is using chakra in wrong way. so he need to activate tenseigan which can be only possible when their family blood combines with byakugan. but he don't have eyes as they are sealed so he kidnap hanabi and stole her eyes and naruto saves our world and hinata naruto kiss and marriage take place.

Naruto actually was able to use KB ever since he saved Hinata back when he was little. He was acting like he can't do a proper bunshin in order to capture Mizuki. This was a secret mission which assigned to him by Konoha's Elite Black Ops Agent Teuchi aka Captain Ramen.

Ya I was surprised that Sasuke virtually had no screen time. He isnt my Fav but every1 likes to see the Sharingan in action esp the Sharinnegan. and we didnt even get to see it in action. Was really dissapointed in the movie, but anime movies usually suck, unfortunately.
