Are you serious, kakashi used his mangekyo sharingan to absorb in the battle some 8 times before he got tired and needed to recharge.
With 9 tails chakra it's a piece of cake for kakashi as you've said!

Thing is, Kakashi didn't have Kurama's chakra that time, he wouldn't have made it in time, let alone be able to absorb them all, it was 5 bijuu damas for god's sake.

In all forrealness aside from attaining sage mode naruto has kinda been left out. He was suppose to be the strongest of k11, we know for a fact that it was neji. He had no new techs aside from a new rasebgan. His ultimate move was useless up until sage mode and hes soo dumb. He did let neji get killed just by being garbage on the battlefield. But all this is just what happens when you try to make a long story short and thats all on kishi. Naruto is aweful as a fighter cause hes not developed as a character
