Can Shinra Tensei be Defeated by Sharingan ?

So my question is this- If the Sharingan can predict movements, Can it exploit the Five second limit of Shinra Tensei and defeat the user ?​

Not really, Five seconds pass very quickly. Naruto had to use a clones as distractions to exploit Deva path's Shinra Tensei. But the Sharingan can predict it and possibly defeat it.

Good vision and movement predicitons can't counter it.
You need quick attack speed to take advantage of that 5 second window.

Of course, Shinra Tensei doesn't do shit against Genjutsu. But genjutsu is lame.

I doubt sharingan can do anything against gravity altering attacks without Susanoo. Seeing it coming makes little difference imo.

A user uses Shinra Tensei. The Sharingan can easily predict the movements done during those 5 seconds. If the user uses a stronger Shinra Tensei, then the cool down would increase putting him at a disadvantage.

But that's not defeating Shinra Tensei. That's attacking while it recharges.


OT: pending the skill of both combatants in theory it is plausible... But this makes the assumption the Rinnegan user won't use some other technique. This is also going off of Pain's version and not the more powerful version when used directly... Which doesn't have a defined time limit we know of.

Kakashi fail to. And you will be blown too far to exploit the 5 seconds interval. You need extreme speed and that's assuming the only ability the rinnengan has. Because all ninjutsu is useless against the rinnengan and taijutsu is suicide.

You exaggerate the attack by posting "gravity attack."

You pushes and attract from his center, the more power he puts into his it, the more his center expands.

Madara using Limbo against Sasuke is a fine example of really controlling gravity.

theres nothing to really predict considering its instant and no movement is required to cast it. you need speed levels of like minato or madara to counter the five seconds, and the five seconds only applies to deva path as far as we know.
