As far as we know, Minato manage to defeat Tobi easily by finding his weakness in 3 sec. But Kakashi manage to find his weakness to, but Kakashi's brain can't reach up to Minato's brain though.
We all know Minato is one of the smartest person in Naruto.
He knew Kakashi's weakness of Chidori, manage to teleport away the tailed beast before Kurama was not ready yet to use that blast, he can make the Rasengan by seen the tailed beast ball once, he managing to beat Tobi's intagibilty and s/t.
Minato has the ftg tech, space-time barrier, mastered at all sealing jutsus, summoning jutsus ( toads ), genius and very smart, ftg lvl 2, maybe lvl 3 though, Rasengan and many jutsus like we don't know.
Minato did not show us so much of his battle yet, yes he defeated Tobi quickly, that's great, but we haven't seen Minato's throwing kunai or some special action fights yet.
How can Shikamaru defeat one of the most legendary ninja and the fastest shinobi, even Shikamaru is just a chunin level, but he can reach up to jonin level right now because of his brain.
Let me say something to u guys, how can Shikamaru use all of his chakra by catching Minato, Minato's normal speed will avoid many of Shikamaru's shadow possesion tech, and explosive tech.
What's you opinion guys ?
