Can Sharingan dispel Sound Genjutsu?

Any Genjutsu, as long as the Genjutsu has not paralyze their body - preventing movement. Shikamaru got lucky as the Genjutsu cast on him by Tayuya limited his movement, making other parts of his body free such as his finger.

NOOOO! Kabuto used a sound genjutusu on sauske & Itachi and they both weren't able to escape it.. they broke free by casting thier own visual genjutsus on eachother..

Theoretically yes. Itachi and sasuke were able to dispel Kabuto's genjutsu. That was in another genjutsu, though, and not possible in the "real" world.

Sharingan doesn't dispel the genjutsu, the ninja does, and as far as sound genjutsu goes, the mechanics don't change, the only difference is the medium used to apply the jutsu.. Kai method, or any other method of breaking genjutsu(buddy method) (pain) etc will break the person out

sound waves are the medium for the genjutsu, and as such if the sound is continuous the jutsu is continuous

Sharingan is useless against Sound genjutsu until 2 sharingan users cast genjutsu on each other to dispel sound genjutsu.

Alone sharingan user can not dispel Sound Genjutsu.
