Why would he kill almost everyone right away? Sasuke wants revenge on the entire village... The way I'd see Sasuke attack the leaf village would be with team taka and possibly obito or orochimaru. Useing susano and Amaterasu to kill everyone and burn the city to the ground.

Kirin's damage may vary depending on the amount of lightning clouds, he could simply shoot fire into the sky again or Amaterasu the village from a distance.. Fight using susano till the heat from the burning village causes lightning storm clouds above then Kirin the a good amount of the village from atop the Kage faced cliff.

I think Sasuke's aproach would be different.

Pain's goal was not to destroy Konoha but to get intel on where Naruto was. Destroying the village was simply a way to achieve that goal.

If Sasuke wanted to destroy the village all he has to do is to take out the high ranks: Hokage, the elders and most of the older Junnins. I think he can do that if goes surgical. Taking out first round junins then secound round the elders and finishes off with Hokage. As long as he manages not to get surrounded by everybody and specially Naruto he should be fine.

On the other hand this might not work already as the village might unite under Naruto as the new Hokage instead of fall. And Sasuke can not defeat Naruto.
