Can Sasuke break tsukuyomi?

Like Obito said, Itachi was holding back during his fight against Sasuke, but by how much? That we don't know. So far i thought that Sasuke countered Itachi's tsukuyomi during that meeting. It's indeed true that he did, but i think Itachi let it happen. The reason why i think so is that if i remember correctly, it's said that Itachi can manipulate space and time in his genjutsu to the point that even a 72hours in the tsukuyomi world could only 1second in the real world.

But what happened against Sasuke? This is where Itachi activated tsukuyomi:

After that, all the even happens in the tsukuyomi world, but there is something i noticed. In fact, there is a case where we see Black and White Zetsu during the tsukuyomi actually wondering what happens:

And later, we continue with the illusion. What does this mean? It means that during the tsukuyomi illusion, Zetsu actually had time to notice something, which means the tsukuyomi illusion lasted more than 1seconds, probably some few seconds

That's why i think that Itachi created a tsukuyomi that last longer than 1second probably to give more time to Sasuke to find a way to break it

Because of this, i don't think Hebi Sasuke would have been able to break Itachi's tsukuyomi if he was serious. I don't know about the current Sasuke, but Hebi Sasuke definitely not, but what do you think?

now that sasuke has itachi's eyes, i am going to go with yes he can break tsukuyomi.

He can, all people with 3 dojutsu can see chakra flow and will realize that they are under a genjutsu.
They will use KA release to get out of Tsukoyomi.

According to the 3rd book, Sasuke actually did break Tsukuyomi due the power of his eyes.

Obito claimed Sasuke's eyes would be stronger than Itachi's
Orochimaru also commented on it

I'm not saying Sasuke is ''better'' at using his eyes, or that he is better at genjutsu than Itachi cause he is not.


If Itachi and Sasuke faced a certain opponent, Itachi would shit on that opponent with genjutsu alone while Sasuke wouldnt.

Sasuke is just a bad match up for Itachi due to his ''natural'' ability to break genjutsu due to him having stronger eyes.

If Itachi used his full tsukyomi then Sasuke wouldn't stand a chance... If he wanted to do a tsukyomi that would involve him stabbing Sasuke (like in the case of Kakashi) or may be one where he is constantly cutting Sasuke's head or burning him for 72hours in 1 second, then Sasuke wouldn't stand a chance.

However, Itachi did that level of tsukyomi that allowed Sasuke sometime to feel pain so that he could use every hidden power he had. So Sasuke brought out the curse seal... If u notice properly, that was the first time Sasuke used Orochimaru's curse mark. After which Itachi tried to weaken him in that stated so that he could seal Orochimaru out of Sasuke's body, which was one of his main goals in that fight

Now what u have to realize is they had a genjutsu fight
• Countering each other the whole time
• No telling how long that genjutsu bout was
• Zetsu could've noticed in the real world itachi's chakra fall
• Ems & edo broke each other out of another genjutsu (meaning they are basically immune to visual gen)
These people can have convos in an instant through genjutsu so for all we know that whole thing was two seconds

People vastlyunderrate sasuke with genjutsu because his isn't as strong as itachi's tsukuyomi but he is top 5 easily

He already broke it. Tsykuyomi isn't "instant" as in it takes 1 second. It slows down the victim's perception of time making things seem longer than they actually are. Nonetheless time is STILL passing.
